Dr. Smith grew up on a small farm 20 miles east of Newton.He completed his dental education at the University of Nebraska and graduated in 2003. He came back to the Newton area right out of dental school and worked at Tippin Dental Group for several years before starting practices in Lexington, VA and Tampa, FL.His career has come full circle and he returns to his hometown and the community he enjoyed growing up in to raise his family.
Dr. Smith is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, and has completed advanced education studies at The Dawson Academy, Spear Institute, and Chasolen Education and Research Center. He feels that a smile is one of the best attributes a person possesses and enjoys working to keep that smile healthy and long-lasting.
Out of the office, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Together, they enjoy camping in the great outdoors and spend summer vacations visiting National Parks.Dr. Smith is active in his church where he and his wife teach 5th and 6th grade Sunday School.He also serves on the school board at Berean Academy, where his children attend school.Other interests of Dr. Smith include hunting, woodworking, and reading.
